Workspace templates

A workspace template is a blueprint for a type of business. Applying one creates everything the business needs in one go: entities, sample records, bookable pools and forms.

  1. Open Templates and pick one.
  2. Answer a few questions. Typical ones: can customers book online, do you take a deposit, what do you call your rooms, which optional modules do you want.
  3. Preview shows exactly what would be created and what it costs against your plan’s limits, before anything is written.
  4. Apply builds it.

Only an owner or manager can apply a template, because it creates forms. If a plan limit would be exceeded, the preview says so up front.

Everything a template creates is ordinary: rename entities, add fields, edit or delete forms. A field’s key is permanent once saved, but its label is free to change.

Separately, Entities → Templates offers single-entity starting points: Assets, Bookings, Customers, Deals, Employees, Expenses, Invoices, Jobs, Leads, Products, Projects, Suppliers, Tasks, Tickets and Time entries.
