What is Graft?
Graft is a business management system for local and medium-sized businesses. Instead of forcing every business into the same fixed data model, each business gets a workspace it shapes itself: a barber shop, a plumbing company and a boat-hire firm all run on Graft and see completely different screens.
The problem
Section titled “The problem”Off-the-shelf tools each solve one slice, such as bookings, invoicing or contacts. Businesses end up juggling four to six subscriptions. Enterprise suites are too expensive and too complex. And every business is different, so a fixed data model never fits.
The answer
Section titled “The answer”Graft assumes almost nothing about what a “customer”, “job” or “booking” is. You define it.
- Entities describe the things you track, with the fields you choose.
- Records are the actual data: one customer, one job, one boat.
- Forms collect records, internally for your team or publicly for your customers. A public form is a shareable link you can post anywhere.
- Orders, payments and inventory turn a form submission into a priced, scheduled, paid job.
- Dashboards and reports read it all back out.
What you can do with it
Section titled “What you can do with it”- Take bookings for boats, rooms, equipment or your own time, with double-booking protection.
- Run a shop where customers pick items into a cart and you invoice or take payment.
- Capture enquiries and quotes from a form on your website or social media.
- Track customers, orders and money owed in one inbox.
- Invite your team with roles.
Start quickly
Section titled “Start quickly”You don’t have to build from nothing. When you sign up, you can start from a workspace template for your kind of business, such as Graft Salon, Graft Hotel or Graft Trades, or follow the guided setup that asks a few questions and builds the pieces for you.
